In addition, we recently closed our Series A funding.

Developer
We're looking for a Python \ Django rock star developer to build out our SAAS cloud-based collection management, social, mobile and ecommerce platform. You have 3-5 years’ experience and have developed and deployed a Django-based software solution. Experience with MySQL and Mezzanine open source content management system a plus. Apache and CentOS experience also a big plus.
Work directly with the VP of Product Development. Compensation commensurate with experience.
COMMUNITY MANAGER - Model Trains and Coins
Develop and manage activities toward connecting DASH users in your community (model trains or coins). You get to work with people having fun engaging in their passion for their collecting hobby. Encourage evangelism, site usage and upgrade. Marketing programs management to support the community. You become the main DASH “face” behind our awesome community-oriented site.
Responsibilities
CM will direct efforts to empower the user community for one or more of DASH collector communities. This will include blogging, email, comarketing, contests, user councils, event planning, Facebook, Forums, and Twitter. Job performance will be measured both quantitatively and qualitatively. You will measure everything, analyze, report, and then measure more. You will help plan budget allocations and be measured on adherence to budget. CM will also handle front-line user support activities.
Required Skills
Excellent written and interpersonal communications skills. Good organizational skills. Ability to learn new tools. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Expert at Facebook and Twitter.
Being passionate about model train and/or coin collecting. Experience with social media management tools.
Education/Training
Undergraduate degree in marketing or communications.
