CollectorDASH is a software company whose platform enables communities of collectors.  Through integration of social, mobile and ecommerce technologies, DASH engages its collector users through its innovative user experience.  Working with seller and manufacturer partners, CollectorDASH generates additional revenue streams and more loyal customer relationships by delivering an engaged, invigorated community.

Driven by passion and interest, collectors assemble into communities, sharing their knowledge, enthusiasm and collections.  These members of these communities today are fragmented and poorly served by today’s technology.  The DASH platform serves to disrupt this market through an innovative, engaging community experience for collectors.

About Us

We got started after a conversation between two college buddies - one was a software entrepreneur and the other was a Coke bottle collector. One thing led to another, and inspired by the fragmented, frustrating, expensive, and haphazard online experience that collectors face, CollectorDASH was founded in 2009. We built our team to fulfill our vision of a much better online experience for collectors. Along the way, we've discovered that our vision and platform is revolutionary for a multitude of collecting communities, representing a $4+ billion market, and we've come to appreciate that our common passion is to serve our customers' passion. We have our first two communities online: Collector-ActionFigures.com and Collector-ModelTrains.com with paying customers via a recurring subscription revenue model and sales transactions.

Problems Solved

For the Collector: While there are many places to buy and sell collectibles, books to value collectibles, and software to manage inventory or showcase one’s collection, there is no dedicated community delivering all of the collectors’ requirements. CollectorDASH is the only platform that meets all the needs of the Collector small or large: To Buy, Sell, Trade, Value, Manage, and Share their collection in a dedicated, integrated community setting.
For the Seller/Manufacturer/Licensor/Publisher: These companies strive to extract maximum revenue from their customers (the collectors), as well as establish deeper, loyal relationships. DASH delivers this.
